Use of Artificial Intelligence at VALITICA
At VALITICA, we use high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) systems to deliver predictions and analyses related to physical performance and sports injury prevention. These systems are developed in accordance with the AI Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and are subject to internal evaluation and oversight to ensure transparency, fairness, traceability, and safety.
We apply AI to support clubs and athletes in predicting injuries through advanced analysis of thousands of data points from various sources. This technology carries significant responsibility, which is why we adhere to the highest ethical standards, in line with the aforementioned Regulation.
Fairness
Our AI is designed to serve all athletes equally, without favour or discrimination based on physical condition, medical history, or other factors. We ensure that models are trained on diverse and representative data sets to avoid biases that could disadvantage any particular profile.
Reliability and Safety
Every prediction provided by VALITICA undergoes rigorous quality control. We employ robust methodologies and continuously update our models to ensure they are reliable, safe, and effective in real-world, high-performance sporting environments.
Transparency and Explainability
Clubs and coaching staff must understand why the system recommends certain actions. That’s why we provide clear explanations about the variables influencing each prediction, promoting trust and the responsible use of information.

VALITICA certifies that, following the classification assessment carried out in accordance with Article 6 and Annexes I and III of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council, its artificial intelligence system is not classified as a high-risk AI system under the AI Act.
Notwithstanding this classification, VALITICA voluntarily applies the requirements established for high-risk AI systems under Article 43 and Annex IV of the Regulation as its internal compliance framework. The organisation certifies that its AI system has been assessed against these requirements and is committed to reviewing and updating this assessment on an annual basis, or whenever significant changes to the system or the applicable regulatory framework so require.
